How private is it?+
Your swaps happen on a fresh address, and burners are funded through a shared privacy pool, so there's no direct onchain transfer from your main wallet to a burner. The pool hides which deposit paid for which withdrawal; it can't hide timing or amounts, so don't withdraw the exact sum you just deposited. Deposits, withdrawals and swaps are still public, just not linked to each other.
Where are my keys?+
Burner keys live in your browser, encrypted with your passphrase, and never touch our servers. Your pool key comes from a signature by your main wallet and is kept only in memory. Save your recovery key: if you clear your browser without it, funds left on your burners can't be recovered.
What does it cost?+
Masque charges nothing. You pay Solana network fees, swap prices as quoted by Jupiter, and the pool's withdrawal fee, charged by Privacy Cash (currently 0.35% + 0.006 SOL). Depositing into the pool is free.
Is there a token?+
No. Masque is a product, not a ticker. Anything claiming to be a Masque token isn't us.
